I do agree your method in solve the question
1.28(page 62),but am confused by the question itself:
Because it says agent has 1 unit commodity she consumes over her life, the quantity she can consume can not exceeds 1 in each period .so ln(x) must be less than 0.Computing from the utility function ,the utility maybe less than 0 ,that violate the definition of the utility.
I want a explain,thank you
