How to verify the existence of a utility fuction? umad mazhar umaed umaedmazhar@yahoo.com if a well defined and consistent preference structure is assumed to exist with firm logical underpinnings then a utility function can be constructed simply by assigning utility numbers to various orderings.Care must be taken that they preserve the order.Am i right?
